Bought for 2yr. birthday, Looked everywhere. Store’s hardly carry quality bikes. (or anything quality for that matter)Found doing a web search. She loves it! I love the quality. Seems like it may last for a heirloom. It’s sets low, great for safety! And the 2yr. old says it’s beautiful!!

We got this trike for my daughter as a Christmas gift last year. She is almost 2 yrs old and I wasn’t sure if this trike might be too big for her. When she first saw it, she loved it! Even though she could barely ride it, she would push herself around the house ringing the bell. The seat is adjustable so her feet were actually able to touch the pedals with no problem, now she just needs to learn how to pedal. The assembly of this trike was very easy, requiring only some adjustable wrenches and a screwdriver and took only about 15 minutes. The build quality of this trike is first rate-it feels solid and weighs it too! What impressed me most about it was the fact that the tires were real rubber needing to be inflated just like the big bikes. My daughter absolutely loves her schwinn and my wife and I could not be happier with the quality and construction of it. If you have a girl between 2 and 4 yrs of age that wants a bike, THIS IS THE ONE!

A quality product. Low to the ground so very hard for a little one to tip over. Easy to assemble. Can’t wait for the snow to disappear so we can take it outside! Have been riding it inside, mostly using our legs (we’re not yet 2 yrs old) to scoot around. However, our bigger cousin (just turned 5 yrs old) had a blast with it and could still peddle without grinding his knees into the handle bars. This trike will last a long time and thru many kids!

My 3 year old daughter just got this trike for her birthday. Besides being so cute, it is extremely well made and durable. Very worth the money, she and her 5 and a half year old brother actually fight over it, even though he has a cool big boy blue bike of his own! You know it must be fun if a 5 year old boy is willing to ride a PINK bike! I am thrilled and couldn’t recommend anything else if this is what you are in the market for.

I can’t say enough GREAT things about this trike. My 2 year old LOVES it! It is very well made, as are Schwinn Bikes. It has so much style, yet it is actually very well made. We gave it to her today at her birthday party, and I think the adults were just as impressed by it as the little kids. Plus, the seat is adjustable so it can grow with the child. It is also very easy to assemble. This is a must have for any pink loving, active, little princess!

I can’t believe I was going to buy the crappy plastic foldup Radio Flyer tricycle. Fortunately, I noticed before purchasing that it was for 1.5 yrs-3 yrs olds and as I was buying this for my daughter who was turning 3, I turned to Amazon to find something bigger. When I saw this, I fell in love with it and BONUS! it was on clearance for $69.99! It’s even more gorgeous in person–when she took it to the local playground for its first spin, the kids there actually chased her around the park because it was so stunning! The only minor drawback is that because she’s still learning the physics of pedaling, she pushes the pedals and pulls on the handlebars so hard to get leverage that the handlebars go a little crooked, even after tightening them as much as we can. But I can easily fix it by twisting them back and I figure it won’t happen as much once she grows taller and gets the hang of riding it.

Just recently bought this cute little three wheeler for my 2 1/2 year old. I was so surprised by the sturdiness and overall quality of this product for the price. I have seen other bikes in the store and they were plastic and not very attractive. This bike is beautiful and made of steel and wood. My daughter loves it and my 50 pound 4 year old boy likes to ride it too! I would recommend this bike to anyone who is looking for quality, looks and safety. Love it!!

I am surprised that Schwinn trikes are not available at conventional stores. This is an excellent product that should definitely be on top of every parent’s list. We decided on the Schwinn roadster after exhaustive research considering among other trikes, Kettlers, Italtrikes, Radio Flyer, etc.. but found this to be the best not just in build quality but also great value for the money you pay (Kettler is just too expensive). Our son just turned 2 and we first thought that he might be too small for this trike after reading other reviews. For now he does reach the pedals (he is 27″ tall) but has yet to learn how to pedal. He scoots around easily, as the seat is low enough. Assembly was extremely easy – 4 steps, took me all of 10 minutes. It rides so smoothly. We are as excited as our son is with this trike and cannot wait for him to learn to pedal around with it. Excellent trike and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This is honestly the perfect trike. My parents bought this for my daughter for her 2nd birthday and we couldn’t be more pleased with it. It’s sturdy, has the ability to be adjusted for greater longevity and is gorgeous. Its retro-looking (like the old, rounded bikes Schwinn once made) with a sleek design and curvy shape. We got the pink model for my daughter and though I’m not a fan of pink in general, its gorgeous. It makes me think of a mini-pink-lady when she’s on it, like I need to get her a pink leather jacket and some motorcycle boots.
Its extremely safe. We tried so many models in different stores and none come close to this one. The back wheels are wide set with large wheels for great stability. All wheels are bycycle-type instead of hard plastic. My daughter can STAND in the seat and turn the wheel (no, we didn’t advocate this when she did it) and it won’t tip over!
My last kudos is that it was very easy to put together. My husband was away when we got it and I had no problem putting it together (despite lack of experience on my part). A few nuts and bolts here with clear instructions and no problem!
Worth the price and will probably last forever! Go Schwinn!

We have the red and the blue for our two two-year olds. One is big for his age and can reach the pedals and the other can just push from the ground.
This is a great trike because it is very stable since it is low to the ground and the rear wheels are far apart. This already came in handy when one son took a turn going down a very slight hill. He stayed upright when I am sure another trike would have tipped. Being low to the ground also makes it easier to push with one’s feet (this helps my smaller son).
The trike’s stability also helps with mounting and dismounting. We looked at a Radio Flyer trike and found it was easy for a kids foot to get caught on the seat or the tube dismounting the trike, causing a fall. No problem with this trike, getting on and off is very easy.
We also like the pneumatic tires and the retro look. We get lots of compliments from the neighbors. Our friends have the expensive trikes (Kettler?) and we certainly prefer the Schwinn over those which seem to be cheap plastic and are so loud because of the plastic wheels. The push bar and one pedal on their Kettlers broke, indicating to me that they aren’t that durable.
The only bad size is that it is heavy. This hasn’t come into play, both kids can push the trike around with their feet, even up a slight hill.
